Release 3-10-4

Temperature Module:

This module provides the possibility to read, process, and display the temperature values provided by the temperature sensors installed on the vehicle(s). the vehicle(s) can have one or more temperature sensors (that might have different functionalities). Like any other module, the partner grants temperature module to companies of interests, and the companies can grant it to the target vehicles.

++Module Components++

1. Company Configuration Page

Where you can define the in-use sensor types considering the following:

✓ every company can define as many types of temperature sensors as needed.

✓ every type can have an expressive name and a special color.

2. Vehicles Configuration Page

Where you can assign sensors to vehicles considering the following:

✓ every vehicle can have one or more temperature sensors

✓ every sensor can have one of the types defined in the company

✓ every sensor can be configured to take its readings from one input of the tracking device (AVL) (the configuration on the system should match the real connection on the vehicle).

3. Temperature Explorer

Where you can get current/historical temperature data and export them to excel

4. Temperature Alarm Condition (Temperature in Range)

it constrains the temperature to be inside a specified range, otherwise, it fires an alarm.

➢ The alarm condition can be applied inside/ outside geofences, or everywhere.

➢ The alarm condition can be applied on a specific day time (day constraints).

➢ A time limit (time tolerance) can be applied so that the alarm will not be fired until the violation lasts for more than the tolerance.

➢ A temperature tolerance can also be applied so that the alarm will not be fired until the temperature exceeds the target average value + the tolerance.

➢ Finally, specific types of temperature sensors can be chosen to be monitored by the alarm condition.

5. Temperature on monitoring page

• Temperature current values can be displayed in the vehicle card and messaging table

• Temperature history chart is displayed in the single-vehicle dashboard
