Release 5-6-7
In this release, we introduce new features and a new report.
1. PDF Exporter:
Now all reports can be exported to PDF as well as excel files. you need to note here that the generated PDF will have a landscape view to fit your reports columns. However, if you include a lot of columns, the file will not be clear enough.
2. Business Calendar:
Now companies’ admins can define their own business calendar according to their own policies. This calendar will be used for the time being in the new report described below in this release note and will be extended in the future to other system parts.
The main objective of this calendar is to define the working days and hours of the company, the weekend, and the public holidays of the country where the company will be off work. the calendar can be created for any level, starting from the company level and ending at the vehicle level.
to edit the business calendar, you need to access the management tab, then “Business Calendars” as shown below:
You’ll find 2 pages under” Business Calendars”:
- Management: here you can add as many calendars as you need. All you need to do is to click on the “Add” button at the top of the page to enter the Calendar setup.
-
- First you need to give your calendar an appropriate name.
- Then you need to choose your time zone
- The next step shows the week days so you can select what days are the “weekend” (by ticking the corresponding checkbox) and what are the start /end hours of the working hours of the day.
- Then you’ll find the annual holidays.
here you’ll add the public holidays in a year. E.g. 1st Jan. Of each year. The days added here will be considered as repeated holidays every year. Click on “Add” so you get a new holiday record and start filling it. You need to provide an appropriate name, and select the day/month (year selection is ignored in this step) if the holiday lasts for one day only or select a date range by clicking on the first day and the last day of the holiday.
-
- Last step is for the fixed holidays that may come in specific years only.
Just like the above step, click on “Add” to have a new holiday record and start filling it considering that year selection is important in this step.
- Assignment: on this page, you can assign the previously created calendars to any company level so the system will apply the working/off hours defined in the calendar on the selected level. You can navigate to the target level and choose the applicable calendar. The last column on this page will show the applied calendar on each level. You may note here that assigning a calendar to a level will have a higher priority than the inherited (applied) calendar from an upper level.
3. Calendar Mileage report:
This report is built based on the business calendar described above. The report enables you to track the distance traveled and duration of utilizing the vehicle over the different periods defined in the company’s business calendar. The periods are as follows: working hours, out-of-working hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- The report will return the distance traveled, driving time, the idle time, and the total time in each period.
- It’ll show the total distance traveled during all periods as well.
- The report can be generated to a single level or to multiple levels.
- If you choose to generate the report using the “multiple” method, you can search for the target level as always, then you need to click on “select” to add the level to the desired input list.
- Removing a level from the input list can be done via clicking on the “x” icon next to the level name.
- After determining the levels for whom you need to generate the report, select the time range over which you need to generate the report
- Finally, you can save the report for scheduling or export it to PDF/excel files.
4. Notification E-mails update:
Now you can check the latest odometer value of the vehicle directly in the notification E-mail triggered by any alarm on the system. Worth to mention here that the number format of the odometer obeys the number notation settings of the company.
