6-1-0
Release 6.1.0
1- WhatsApp Notification:
We are glad to announce that we launched a new feature that enables you to receive system notifications via the WhatsApp mobile application.
To take advantage of this feature, you need first to communicate with your service supplier to agree on the quota you can have. Quota in this feature means the number of eligible accounts (including the company admin account) to receive WhatsApp notifications. Once you have your quota, you are good to go to activate WhatsApp notifications to the target clients’ accounts from the “Accounts” page as shown below.
After activation, the user needs to do an additional step before creating any Whatsapp notification. It’s to verify the account number.
To do so, one can go to management tab => Current Account Settings => Phone => add the target number => save => click on “Verify on WhastApp”
A verification code will be sent to the inserted WhatsApp number, please enter it in the opened dialog on the platform.
Once verified, the user can enable the WhatsApp notification from any “add notification” page/popup via checking the “WhatsApp” checkbox as shown below. Then, the notifications will be sent to the verified number.
Note about this feature:
Please pay attention not to block the sending account to ensure receiving new notifications in the future. We are not responsible for not receiving any notification because a blocking action was taken on your side; This is the WhatsApp policy.
2- Event-Based Alarm Condition:
A new alarm condition is added to our rich ACs family. It’s about firing an alarm once a predefined event/set of events is received. This enhances the already-existed alarms of source “hardware event”.
Before this AC, we had a fixed set of events that can fire an alarm once received, mentioning but not limiting to: hard braking, accelerating, cornering events, and so on. Now, it’s open to you to choose whatever event you want to fire an alarm upon receiving.
Like any other AC, this AC is controlled by a permission. Once granted, you can access the AC wizard and create a suitable instance of it.
3- Enrich reports input:
Latter to the enhancement introduced in release 5-6-4 relating to report input, we are proud to announce that this enhancement is extended to cover most of our reports including but limited to Vehicle Trips Report, Advance Vehicle Idle Report, geofence based voyage report, geofence backtrack report, Vehicle Speed Report, RAG reports, etc.). that is, in addition to the already available method of choosing one level (site/category/vehicle), the reports now introduce the new way of selecting multiple levels, meaning that you can select multiple sites/cat/vehicles, or some sites and different vehicles belonging to different sites or categories. Moreover, the enhanced input enables you to select a sub-category of a higher sub-category.
4- Maintenance Tasks Enhancements:
Now, when creating a new task, you can easily give the same title to more than one task by choosing the suitable title from the list of already created tasks.
Moreover, when resolving a task, you can change the odometer of the vehicle for more accurate tasks tracking.
5- Wasl Bus Transportation Activities:
Comply with the new conditions requested by the Transport Authority in regard to Bus Transportation integration with Wasl service.
