Release 6.2.6
1- Reset Password
We are excited to announce the implementation of new account creation and password reset processes to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for our valued customers. These improvements aim to simplify the account creation process, strengthen security measures, and ensure a seamless user journey.
The key enhancements to the user registration process are as follows:
- Account Verification and Activation: Upon account creation, our system will promptly send a confirmation email containing a “Verification Link” to set the account’s basic information (including the new password) to the user’s provided email address. It’s not the admin responsibility anymore; it’s all in the user’s hand now.
- Password Reset: it’s now more private and secure. Once an administrator tried to reset any user password, an automatic link will be sent to the user registered email in their account, and not to the admin email. The link will expire after 24 hours, ensuring the security of the process.
- Forget password: To help the users reset their passwords independently, we have added a new “Forget password” link on the login page. Upon clicking it, the user will be redirected to the “forget password” page to enter his email or the username of their account —ensuring that their account is equipped with a valid email address- an email will be sent to user to set a new password.
Click on the “Username” button to switch to entering E-mail mode
These enhancements to our account creation, password reset and forget processes will greatly improve the overall user experience, offering a seamless and secure journey from account creation to password management.
2- Maintenance Report:
We are pleased to announce the release of our latest maintenance report, which provides an in-depth analysis of all the maintenance tasks carried out on your vehicles during a specific time range. This report is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the total number of maintenance tasks resolved, total cost, and total time required to resolve these tasks for each of your vehicles.
The report obeys dedicated permission under the reports’ permissions. After getting permission from the administrator, you are good to go to review this report and analyze the data to identify areas where you can improve your maintenance processes and reduce costs.
The report input is just about selecting the target level along with the date range over which you want to validate the resolved tasks.
The report output is divided into multiple comprehensive columns as follows:
- The column cost shows the cost of resolving the maintenance tasks for each vehicle, it’s being calculated for each task as follows:cost = the additional cost + the sum of (spare part quantity * spare part cost) for all spare parts.
- The count column shows the number of resolved tasks for each vehicle
- The column working time shows the time needed for the tasks to be moved from the “in process” state to “resolved” state.
