Vehicle I/O Attributes

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature in this release — Vehicle I/O Attributes!

Take your AVL input/output mapping to the next level with detailed and customizable configurations.

🔧 What You Can Do

With this feature, you can now:

• Map and configure I/O attributes for vehicle inputs and outputs directly on the platform.
• Control access to the feature via a permission in management settings.

🛠️ How to Get Started

1. Go to the Management page.
2. Access the Vehicle I/O Attribute section.
3. Click “Add” and follow the steps below:
   • Name each attribute descriptively (e.g., "Front Light").
   • Choose whether the attribute applies to all company vehicles or just some.
   • Select the data type (currently one available).
   • Define whether it’s for a digital input (DIN) or digital output (DOUT).
   • Assign the DIN/DOUT number and corresponding logic.
   • Save your settings.

🚗 Assign Attributes to Vehicles

Once attributes are created, assigning them to vehicles is easy:

1. Navigate to the desired vehicle in the Company Tree.
2. Right-click and choose “Edit”.
3. In the “Vehicle IO-attributes” section, add your chosen attributes.
4. Use the table below to view attributes inherited from company-wide settings.
5. Want to customize settings for an individual vehicle?
   • Just uncheck the “Use Defaults” box and edit as needed.

🌍 Where to Access I/O Attributes (6.5.13.3)

You can now access and view these attributes across the platform:

• 🚘 On the Vehicle Card Info
• 📩 In the Messages Table on the Monitoring Page
• 🧭 Inside the Vehicle Explorer
