Driver Import Enhancements

We’ve enhanced the Driver Import feature to make it easier and smarter to assign vehicles to drivers during the import process.

✅ What’s Added?

A new Options section has been added to the driver import page. This allows direct vehicle assignment to imported drivers.

🚗 Vehicle Assignment Options

  • Include Current Vehicle Plate No. Column?
    Enable this option to assign imported drivers to vehicles directly during import. When enabled, a new column will be added to the Excel template to input the plate number of each vehicle assigned to a driver.

    This option includes additional settings for precise vehicle assignment:

    • Assign the Driver to Ignition-On Vehicles?
      Choose whether to assign drivers to vehicles that are currently ignited on.

      ⚠️ If the vehicle is already on, the ongoing trip will end and a new trip will start with the newly assigned driver.

    • Unassign Current Driver from the Selected Vehicle - If Any?
      Allows the system to remove current drivers from vehicles in the import file if they are already assigned, to make way for the new assignments.

    • Unassign Current Vehicle from the Selected Driver - If Any?
      Allows the system to unassign vehicles currently linked to the drivers being imported, ensuring they can be matched to new vehicles.

ℹ️ Note: If vehicle information is missing or incomplete in the import file, the system will default to the previous behavior (no automatic vehicle assignment).

Message History Report Enhancements

We’ve added greater flexibility to the Message History Report (both Web and Excel) by introducing new optional columns for location data:

  • Latitude/Longitude (combined)
  • Latitude
  • Longitude

You can now choose your preferred format for location data from the Location column dropdown in the report input options.

Vehicle Explorer & Reports Enhancements

We’ve expanded the customization options in Vehicle Explorer and related reports with new level-based display controls.

Optional Level Columns

You can now display additional vehicle hierarchy levels in the following views:

  • Vehicle Explorer
  • Trip Report
  • Vehicle Trips Report

Available levels:

  • Site
  • Category
  • Sub-Category
  • Sub-Sub-Category

🧾 Vehicle Column Selector

A new Column Selector has been added to the Vehicle Trips Report, allowing you to customize visible fields for a more streamlined workflow.
