Trailer Connectivity & Augmented Arguments Enhancement

Overview

This update introduces new augmented arguments and improvements to the trailer handling logic to enhance trailer identification and connectivity tracking.

N.B. from now on, no trailer connected/disconnected event/alarm will be fired unless you add the new augmented argument rule.

What’s New

1. New Augmented Arguments

Two new augmented arguments have been added:

• Beacon-Based Trailer Identification

  • Reads Beacon ID and Beacon connectivity events
  • Translates them into:
    • Trailer ID
    • Trailer connectivity events

• DALLAS-Based Trailer Identification

  • Reads DALLAS ID
  • Translates it into:
    • Trailer ID
    • Trailer connectivity events
    

These additions allow the system to standardize trailer identification and connectivity tracking regardless of the source technology.
