Release 6.10.5

4 Oct. 2026

1. Equipment Activity Detection Based on CAN-bus RPM

The Equipment module has been enhanced to support equipment activity detection based on the RPM value received through CAN-bus data.

This new activity source allows the platform to calculate the equipment’s active and inactive time based on engine/equipment RPM, providing an additional method for monitoring equipment operation alongside the existing activity sources.

How It Works

When the equipment tracker provides an RPM value through CANbus, the platform uses this value to determine whether the equipment is active or inactive.

Users can configure:

  • RPM Threshold – the minimum RPM value required to consider the equipment active.
  • Time Window – the period used to evaluate the RPM readings against the configured threshold.

The equipment is considered Active when the received RPM meets or exceeds the configured threshold within the defined time window. Otherwise, it is considered Inactive.

Configuration

The new RPM Changes option is available as an equipment activity source in the Equipment module configuration.

Users can configure the RPM threshold and time window according to the characteristics and operating conditions of each equipment type.

Requirements

To use CANbus RPM-based activity detection:

  • The tracker installed on the equipment must support reading RPM through CANbus.
  • The tracker must transmit the RPM value to the platform as part of the CANbus data.
  • The RPM threshold and time window must be configured in the Equipment Activity settings.
  • The CAN-bus module as well as the Equipment module must be assigned to the vehicle used to measure the equipment’s activity on the platform.

2. New Event-Based Alarms

we added all Eye sensor Pitch/Roll events to the Event-Based alarm condition so that they can trigger an alarm once received. they are as follows:

EYE Pitch 1 (via IO:10816) EYE Roll 1 (via IO: 10832) EYE Pitch 2 (via IO:10817) EYE Roll 2 (via IO: 10833) EYE Pitch 3 (via IO:10818) EYE Roll 3 (via IO: 10834) EYE Pitch 4 (via IO:10819) EYE Roll 4 (via IO: 10835)

3. New AVL Devices

New devices are now supported with our platform:

  • Teltonika FMC230 via port 8083
  • Ruptela Smart 5 via port 8084
  • Queclink GV30CEU via port 8085
  • Queclink Gv355CEU via port 8086
